The most common thing busy clients tell me is: “I don’t have time.” Between work, kids and everything else, a 90-minute gym session every day is not realistic. The good news: you don’t need it.
Three focused sessions beat seven rushed ones
For most busy people, three full-body sessions of about an hour each week is enough to build strength, add muscle and support fat loss, as long as those sessions are focused.
What a focused session looks like
- Start with big movements. Squats, hinges like deadlifts, pushes and pulls work the most muscle in the least time.
- Train with intent. Finish most sets with one or two good reps left in the tank.
- Keep rest honest. Time your rests so a session doesn’t drift past an hour.
- Track it. Add a little weight or a rep over time. Progress is the point.
Fill the gaps with movement
On non-training days, walk. A daily walk is one of the simplest ways to support fat loss, recovery and energy, and it fits around calls and school runs.
The real secret: consistency

Three sessions a week for a year beats a perfect program you quit in March. Pick a plan you can actually keep, and keep it.
You don’t need more time. You need a plan built for the time you have.
If you want a plan built around your calendar, that is exactly what my coaching does.
